A Green smoothie is part of my healthy breakfast ritual. I drink this smoothie breakfast every other day, three times a week. Originally, I found the recipe on the internet many years ago but had only promised to try it someday. That day finally arrived but the proportions were more than I wanted. So I made a of couple adjustments and for one serving. I reduced the amount of yogurt and added honey. Yummy!!
A breakfast green smootie is easy to make, you just need a blender and these fresh fruits, spinach, yogurt and honey.

1 small tangerine or 1/2 orange, peeled, seeds and strings removed
1 small apple, peeled, cored and cut into large pieces
1 small banana, peeled
3 large fresh strawberries, green leaves removed and cut into halves
1 Tablespoon honey
2 hand-full of baby spinach
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
3 ice cubes (optional)
Place first four ingredients into a blender. Set blender to liquify for about 3-5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and continue to liquify. If you want to chill the smoothie, add about 3 ices cubes and set the blender to chop, for about 1-2 minutes.
I love having a breakfast green smoothie with a slice of toast and one scambled egg.
