Like the classic potato, a small fingerling shaped potato has a buttery mild nutty flavor. There are many other ways to prepare these small 2-3 inch long potatoes but roasting really entensifies their flavor. Fingerling potatoes are little more expensive than regular potatoes but they're well worth the treat.
